This Privacy Policy describes the Platform owned by Plasia LLC (“Plasia”), and Plasia’s policies and procedures that dictate the collection, use and disclosure of information by you or any User when a User accesses the Platform, or when a User otherwise does business with or contacts Plasia. All capitalized terms have the same meaning as defined in Section II “Interpretations and Definitions” of the Plasia Terms andConditions of Service.
Plasia is committed to protecting and respecting User privacy and the Policy informs any User about User privacy rights and how the law protects a User.
I. What information does Plasia collect?
Plasia collects data to enable Plasia to operate the Platform effectively, and to provide aUser with the best experience on the Platform. A User provides some of this data to Plasia directly, such as when a User registers to use the Platform, subscribes to a newsletter from Plasia, responds to a Plasia survey, makes an inquiry through the Platform, contacts Plasia for support, or contacts Plasia as a prospective User, vendor, supplier, or consultant.
Plasia collects some User data by recording how a User interacts with the Platform by , for example, using technologies like cookies. Plasia also obtains and processes data in the context of making the Platform available to a User. A User has choices about the data Plasia collects. When a User is asked to provide personal data, the User may decline. But, if a User chooses not to provide data that is necessary to enable Plasia to make the Platform available to a User, then such User may not be able to sign up, access to, utilization of the Platform. The data Plasia collects depends on the context of any User interactions with Plasia and the Platform and the choices each User makes (including User privacy settings). The data Plasia collects to provide and improve the Platform can include the following:Email, Electronic Wallet Address, and Social Media Account. Plasia may collect anyUser email address, User electronic wallet address, and social media account name if aUser accesses the Platform.
Device and Usage information. Plasia may collect data about the device of a PlatformUser and how such User and device of a User interacts with Plasia and the Platform. For example, Plasia may collect User interactions on the Platform, User feature usage patterns as a User, location data, and User interactions with Plasia as a User. Plasia may also collect data about a User device and the network utilized by a User to connect to thePlatform as a User; this may include data such as a User IP address, browser type, operating system, and referring URLs.
II. What does Plasia collect and utilize User information and personal data for?Plasia utilizes the data Plasia collects to operate the business of Plasia and to make thePlatform available to a User. This includes using the data to improve the Platform and to personalize User experiences. Plasia may also utilize the data to communicate with aUser to, among other things, inform a User about a User account, provide security updates, and give a User information about the Platform. Plasia may also utilize the data to manage User email subscriptions, improve the relevance and security of the Platform, respond to user inquiries, and send a User periodic marketing communications about thePlatform.Plasia utilizes data to provide the Platform to a User, to improve the Platform, and to perform essential business operations. This includes operating the Platform, maintaining and improving the performance of the Platform, developing new features, conducting research, providing customer support, and enforcement of the Terms and Conditions ofService. Examples of such uses include the following:
Providing the Platform. Plasia utilizes data to carry out User transactions with Plasia and to make the Platform available to a User. In certain cases, the Platform may include personalized features and recommendations to enhance User enjoyment, and automatically tailor User experience based on the data Plasia has about a User. Technical support. Plasia utilizes data to diagnose problems, and to provide customer assistance and other support services.Improving the Platform. Plasia utilizes data to continually improve the Platform, including system administration, system security, and adding new features or capabilities.Business Operations. Plasia utilizes data to develop aggregate analyses and business intelligence that enable Plasia to operate, protect, make informed decisions, and report on the performance of the business of Plasia.Promotions. Plasia may utilize User data to administer contests, promotions, surveys, or other site features. Improving Advertising Campaigns. Plasia may utilize User data to improve Plasia advertising campaigns, primarily in an effort to prevent targeting a User with advertisements that are not relevant to a User.Sending Periodic Emails and Notifications. Plasia may utilize User data to send a User periodic emails and notifications. Depending on the marketing preferences a User selects on the User Dashboard, Plasia may send a User occasional marketing emails about thePlatform, which a User can unsubscribe from at any time using the link provided in the message. Communications. Plasia utilizes data Plasia collects to communicate with a User, and to personalize Plasia communications with a User. For example, Plasia may contact aUser to discuss the User’s account, to remind a User about features of the Platform that are available for User use, to update a User about a support request, or to invite a User to participate in a survey. Additionally, a User can sign up for email subscriptions, and choose whether a User wants to receive marketing communications from us.
III. How does Plasia protect User information?Plasia implements a variety of security measures, including encryption, to maintain the safety of User personal information when a User enters, submits, or otherwise accessesUser personal information.IV. How does Plasia ensure that Plasia’s processing systems remain confidential, resilient, and available?Plasia implements a variety of measures to ensure that Plasia’s processing systems remain confidential, resilient, and available. Specifically, Plasia has implemented processes to help ensure high availability, business continuity, and prompt disaster recovery. Plasia commits to maintaining strong physical and logical access controls, and conduct regular penetration testing to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.V. Does Plasia utilize cookies?Yes. Cookies are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to a User computer’s hard drive through a User’s Web browser (if a User permits) that enables the sites or service providers’ systems to recognize a User’s browser and capture and remember certain information.Plasia uses cookies and other similar identifiers to understand and save User preferences for future visits, to advertise to a User on other sites, and to compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that Plasia can offer better site experiences and tools in the future.A User may refuse to accept cookies, or changes to disable cookies on the Platform, by activating the setting on such User’s browser that allows the User to refuse the setting of cookies. However, if a User chooses to disable cookies, such User may be unable to access and otherwise utilize certain parts of the Platform that may be affected.VI. Does Plasia disclose any information to outside parties?Plasia shares User personal data with User consent, or as necessary to make thePlatform available to a User. Plasia also shares User data with vendors working on Plasia’s behalf; when required by law or to respond to legal process; to protect Plasia customers; to protect lives; to maintain the security and integrity of the Platform; and to protect Plasia rights or Plasia property. Plasia does not sell or trade the personal information of a User to third parties without such User’s consent.
VII. How to Access and Control User Personal DataA User can view, access, edit, delete, or request a copy of the User’s personal data for many aspects of the Platform via the User Dashboard. A User can also make choices about Plasia collection and utilization of the User’s data. A User can always choose whether the User wants to receive marketing communications from Plasia. A User can also opt out from receiving marketing communications from Plasia by using the opt-out link on the notification or communication, or by visiting the User Dashboard. Data Request. A User can request a copy of the User’s personal data by submitting an email to Plasia at support@dreamplasia.com and including “Please send me a copy of my personal data” in the “Subject” line. Plasia will verify the User’s ability to access the email that is associated with the User’s email address, then send the User a digital export of the data Plasia holds that is associated with such User’s email address. Plasia will utilize reasonable efforts to respond to the User’s request within 30 days of Plasia’s receipt of verification of the request. Plasia may be limited in its ability to send certain personal data to the User (e.g., the identification of the User’s Platform NFT or ticket). Data Erasure. A User may request that Plasia delete the User’s personal data by submitting an email to Plasia at support@dreamplasia.com and including “Please delete my personal data” in the “Subject” line. Plasia will verify the User’s ability to access the email that is associated with the User’s email address, then delete the personal data associated with the User’s email address. Plasia will use reasonable efforts to respond to a User request within 30 days of Plasia’s receipt of verification of the request.Data Correction. A User can modify the User’s personal data via the User Dashboard.Note that since some of the data Plasia collects is specific to the User – for example, theUser’s electronic wallet address – a User may not be able to modify this data without needing to create a new User Account.The User’s Communications Preferences. A User can choose whether the User desires to receive marketing communications from Plasia. If the User receive marketing communications from Plasia and would like to opt out, a User can do so by following the directions in that communication. A User can also make choices about the User’s receipt of marketing communications by signing into the User’s Account, and viewing and managing the User’s communication permissions in the User Dashboard, where a User can update contact information, manage the User’s contact preferences, opt out of email subscriptions, and choose whether to share the User’s contact information with Plasia and Plasia’s partners. Alternatively, a User can request that Plasia withdraws the User’s consent to use the User’s personal data by submitting an email to Plasia atsupport@dreamplasia.com and including “Please withdraw my consent for marketing communications” in the “Subject” line. Plasia will verify the User’s ability to access that email, then update Plasia’s systems to remove the User’s email address from the system Plasia uses to send marketing communications. Plasia will use reasonable efforts to respond to the User’s request within 30 days of Plasia’s receipt of a verification of the request. Please note that these choices do not apply to mandatory communications that are part of the Platform, or to surveys or other informational communications that have their own unsubscribe method.
VIII. Third Party LinksOccasionally, at Plasia’s discretion, Plasia may include or offer third party products or services on the Platform. If the User accesses other websites using the links provided, the operators of these websites may collect information from the User that will be used by them in accordance with their privacy policies. Each Third-Party Website or Service has separate and independent privacy policies and legal requirements regarding data privacy.Plasia, therefore, has no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked Third-Party Website or Service. Nonetheless, Plasia seeks to protect the integrity of the Platform and welcomes any feedback about these Third-Party Providers.
IX. Where Plasia Stores and Processes Personal DataPersonal data collected by Plasia will be stored and processed in the United States The storage location(s) are chosen in order to operate efficiently, to improve performance, and to create redundancies in order to protect the data in the event of an outage or other problem. Plasia takes steps to ensure that the data Plasia collects is processed according to the provisions of this Policy and the requirements of applicable law wherever the data is located.
X. Data Retention Plasia will retain User personal data for as long as necessary to make the Platform available to a User, or for other essential purposes such as complying with Plasia’s legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing Plasia’s agreements. Because these needs can vary for different types of data, actual retention periods can vary significantly. The criteria Plasia uses to determine the retention periods include:• How long is the personal data needed to make the Platform available to a User and/or operate Plasia’s business? This includes such things such as maintaining and improving the performance of the Platform, keeping Plasia’s systems secure, and maintaining appropriate business and financial records. This is the general rule that establishes the baseline for most data retention periods.• Is there an automated control, such as in the User Dashboard, that enables a User to access and delete the personal data at any time? If there is not, a shortened data retention time will generally be adopted.• Is the personal data of a sensitive type? If so, a shortened retention time would generally be appropriate.• Has the User provided consent for a longer retention period? If so, Plasia will retain the data in accordance with User consent.• Is Plasia subject to a legal, contractual, or similar obligation to retain the data? Examples can include mandatory data privacy and retention laws in the applicable jurisdiction, government orders to preserve data relevant to an investigation, or data that must be retained for the purposes of litigation.
XI. Changes to the Policy Plasia will update the Policy from time to time, when necessary to reflect User feedback and changes to the Policy and Platform. When Plasia amends the Policy it will notify any User through a revision of the “Last Updated” date at the top of the Policy. Changes to the Policy are effective when they are posted on the Platform and the “Last Updated”date is updated on the Policy.Plasia will inform a User of a material change to the Policy via notification, email, and/or a prominent notice on the Platform, prior to the change becoming effective and then update the "Last Updated" date at the top of the Policy. A material change to the Policy is effective when posted on the Platform and the “Last Updated” date is updated on thePolicy.Each User is encouraged to review the Policy periodically for any changes.
